An answer to your situation
Clairdex asks the missing questions, canton, contract duration, company size, then answers your case, not a general one.
Module · Swiss law questions
Swiss law lives in public texts: the Code of Obligations, the Employment Act, the FADP, the rulings of the Federal Supreme Court. Clairdex reads them for you, answers your precise question and shows you where the answer comes from.
Can I dismiss an employee who is currently on sick leave? He has been with us for 3 years.
Not during the protection period. From the third year of service, the employer may not give notice during the first 180 days of an incapacity for work through no fault of the employee. Notice given during that period is void. You may give it afterwards, or before the illness if notice was already served.

What you get
Clairdex asks the missing questions, canton, contract duration, company size, then answers your case, not a general one.
The article, paragraph, ordinance or ruling is displayed alongside. One click opens the official text on Fedlex or on the Federal Supreme Court website.
When a collective agreement, a cantonal rule or a contract may change the answer, Clairdex flags it. When the question belongs to a lawyer, it says so.
Question in English, answer in German for your colleague in Zurich, document in French for the employee in Lausanne. The sources stay the same.
Each answer proposes the next step: termination letter, amendment, formal notice, clause. The tailored document picks up the facts from the conversation.
Your questions and the answers stay in your workspace, visible to your team or your fiduciary, exportable at any time.
Examples
What notice period for a commercial lease?
Six months for commercial premises, for the date customary in the locality or, failing that, the end of a three-month lease period. Three months for a home. The contract may provide a longer period, never a shorter one.
Art. 266c and 266d CO
From which turnover am I liable for VAT?
From CHF 100,000 of annual turnover from taxable supplies, in Switzerland and abroad. Below that, registration is voluntary. The standard rate has been 8.1% since 1 January 2024.
Art. 10 and 25 VAT Act
Must I record my employees' working time?
Yes, it is an employer's obligation. Simplified recording is only possible if a collective agreement provides for it, and a full waiver requires a gross salary above CHF 120,000 and substantial autonomy, within the framework of a collective agreement.
Art. 46 EmpA, Art. 73, 73a and 73b EmpO 1
Does a French customer have a right of withdrawal on my online shop?
Swiss law provides no general right of withdrawal for distance selling, unlike European Union law. It exists for doorstep and telephone sales. You may grant one in your terms, which European customers often expect; the compliant website page explains that choice.

FAQ
A general assistant mixes French, German and American law and invents references. Clairdex only answers from official Swiss sources, cites the exact article and declines to answer when it has no basis. Your exchanges do not train a model and stay in Switzerland.
Yes, like any documentation. That is why every answer carries its source, which you can open and check. For a weighty decision, a contested dismissal, a dispute, a restructuring, Clairdex will tell you to consult a lawyer, and you will arrive with the right question.
Federal law first, which covers most of employment, contract and data protection law. For what depends on the canton, official lease forms, public holidays, taxes, Clairdex asks for your canton and cites the cantonal text.
