Is a company registered for ten years safe?
Age says nothing about solvency. The commercial register records existence, capital and signatures, not debts. A company registered for ten years may have twenty pending enforcement proceedings, and the register will show no trace of them.

Does the share capital guarantee anything?
Almost nothing. The CHF 20,000 of a limited company is paid up at incorporation and may be spent the next day. What is informative is the absence of recent proceedings and the history of the officers.

Why look at the officers and not only the company?
Because a bankruptcy leaves the company struck off but the director free to start again. We check their other mandates, current and past, and flag any related company struck off after bankruptcy.

What are the trademarks and domains for?
To verify that your partner actually owns what they claim to grant you, and is not using a name belonging to a third party. That is the risk discovered latest and the most expensive to fix.

No. The commercial register extract and trademark data are public. The debt enforcement extract requires a legitimate interest, which we verify from your order or your contractual relationship, without informing the person concerned.
It is flagged in the report, with the reason, and its cost is deducted from the price. You do not pay for information we did not obtain.
